The brief
LOVEFiLM supply films and games by post, and were keen to improve customer interaction with the brand by extending their mobile application to a wider audience.
The solution
Given Nokia’s substantial market share, it made sense to develop LOVEFiLM’s mobile app for Nokia touchscreen devices, reproducing the features and functionality that have proven so popular on LOVEFiLM’s iPhone app. The app is due to be launched soon, and will allow Nokia users to prioritise, add and remove film and game titles on their LOVEFiLM rental lists. They will also be able to browse over 67,000 film and game titles, all with efficient and effective ‘search’ and ‘browse’ functionality.
The outcome
The app has yet to be launched. However, when taking into consideration the usefulness of the service, its simple, effective features, and intuitive interface, we’re quietly confident of its success.
