Our design methodology
Whatever digital product we create for you, great user interface (UI) design and user experience (UX) design underpins it all. When we create, the focus is on the user with a view to delivering the best possible experience each and every time.
Our design team specialises in both UI design and UX design, enabling them to work on the whole design process from concept to delivery. With digital transformation projects for clients like EE, AIG, KFC and Yorkshire Building Society, the team are experts at integrating with and upskilling in-house design teams.
Our talented team of designers work collaboratively with our clients, ensuring simple, intuitive solutions that meet our own high standards and your expectations. Many of our clients share the results of creative tests with us, providing invaluable feedback and validation of our recommendations. We are responsible for millions of customer interactions every month so this empirical feedback creates a powerful learning loop for our designers.
Innovative and Agile design
An Agile approach to design means we craft the design in stages giving the opportunity to adapt and improve at every stage, using insights from the discovery process and feedback from both the client and users. This approach helps the design team create useful, intuitive and usable experiences that connect with people and increase engagement.
Design for Accessibility
We design for inclusivity at Bolser. This means designing, building and testing with accessibility and inclusion at the forefront of our minds, right from the start. Assistive technologies challenge design throughout the process, and we always work towards WCAG 2.0 AA standards. Not only do we integrate accessibility into our processes, we innovate in this area too, for example we have developed a ‘world first’ speech to text subtitling system for Xbox livestreams and implemented this on more than 40 global retailer sites. Our solution received global recognition for innovation by Microsoft.
We never just launch and leave. We believe that a solid design foundation means that products can and will continuously evolve and improve. For this, we collaboratively create design systems and a set of digital assets that can evolve with the project and can easily scale. A design system can help increase consistency and efficiency, form a solid starting point for growth, and aid usability. Our design systems have helped in-house teams at clients like EE and Yorkshire Building Society co-create websites and apps more efficiently.
