The Challenge

Breaking down the barriers to innovation

Our brief was to ensure the No Limits website met the needs of a wide range of target audiences. These were young innovators aged 16 to 25 and those facing barriers related to disability, neurodiversity, ethnicity, or LGBTQIA+ identities. Accessibility and inclusivity were priorities, together with a curated and personalised experience for users, that offered the resources and opportunities they required.

What we did

A personalised experience utilising AI

  • Our expert team designed and built a comprehensive end-to end website with AI driven personalised content for users and a Strapi CMS to enable the Innovate UK team to add updates and regular fresh content to the site.
  • We conducted in depth interviews across the target audience to gather insights and feedback to inform the design process and ensure optimum user experience.
  • Personalised content was an important requirement, so at sign up users are asked a series of questions to complete their individual profile.
  • Using AI, content feeds are then personalised based on the user's profile and preferences. Interactions such as clicks, likes and engagement time are used to further refine user feeds.
  • Building to accessibility standard WCAG 2.2 AA, we ensured the site was easy to use and met the diverse needs of all the different audiences.
  • We followed SEO best practices in web build and content to ensure high visibility on search engines, driving organic traffic and increasing platform reach.
