Bolser’s Christmas Bash: Quiz Chaos, Indoor Skiing, and Yurt Bar Festivities!

We know how to do Christmas properly at Bolser, and our 2025 Christmas party was everything it needed to be - a bit competitive, a bit chaotic, and extremely festive from start to finish. From a morning quiz to hitting the slopes, then mulled wine and office games before wrapping things up in a Christmas yurt bar at Harewood House… it was a proper good’un.

Christmas Quiz Kick-Off

We kicked things off the right way: a Christmas quiz created by our SEO Manager, Connor, and honestly… the man understood the assignment.

There were festive facts flying around and it was the perfect warm-up for the rest of the day - equal parts brainpower and banter, with just enough competitive energy to get everyone fully switched on.

Indoor Skiing at Xscape Castleford

Once we’d proven our Christmas knowledge, it was time to swap pens for snow boots as we headed over to Xscape Castleford for some indoor skiing at Snozone.

And yep… it was as funny as you’d expect.

Some people looked like they’d been training all year. Others looked like Bambi on ice. But everyone got stuck in, and once the ski session started, it turned into a full-on Bolser-style mission: laughs, wipeouts, and plenty of “go onnnn!” encouragement from the sidelines.

Back to HQ: Mulled Wine, Office Games & Pre-Drinks

After our snowy adventure, we headed back to the office for the next phase of the celebration: mulled wine, office games, and pre-drinks.

Christmas Yurt Bar Magic at Harewood House

To finish the day in style, we jumped in taxis and headed to Harewood House, where we spent the evening in a Christmas yurt bar for festive food, drinks, and a proper party atmosphere.

Fairy lights, seasonal scran, festive cocktails… it had everything. The perfect place to have a laugh, and enjoy a fantastic end-of-year team celebration to wrap up a busy year together.
